Senior Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and collections.
Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
