Job Description

The Executive Chef is the head of the kitchen and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation in a restaurant, hotel, or other food service establishment. The role involves managing the kitchen team, creating and designing menus, ensuring food quality, maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness, managing inventory and budgets, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and presented according to the highest standards.

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.

Assign tasks to kitchen staff, ensuring that all roles are filled and responsibilities are clear.

Maintain a smooth workflow and ensure timely food preparation, especially during busy periods.
