Job Description
The Senior Incident Investigator is responsible for investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses in the oil and gas operations. The role requires leading investigations, analyzing data, and identifying root causes to prevent future occurrences. The position also involves developing recommendations for corrective actions, providing guidance to operational teams, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage investigations of safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses, including both field and office-based incidents.
Ensure investigations are conducted promptly, thoroughly, and in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Collect and analyze data, interview witnesses, review equipment and maintenance logs, and gather physical evidence to identify the root cause(s) of incidents.
Collaborate with engineers, HSE specialists, and management to assess the technical and operational factors that contributed to incidents.
